Wonder Houses

Full House Theatre commission for Wardown House Museum - 2026

Join were commissioned by Full House Theatre to design and make six unique showcases for Wardown House Museum in Luton. Each case design is based on a house or building in Luton, with a dolls-house style front opening to reveal the objects. We were brought onto the project due to our experience in design, object security and conservation, and fabrication knowledge.

The interior of each house comes to life with light when the fronts are opened revealing objects selected from the museum’s collection by local children. When we had completed the builds, each house went to a Luton based artist to be transformed into unique pieces of art.
